Saw a Nigerian man yesterday w/ Yoruba tribal marks on his cheeks. wonder if he wears them w/ pride or hates “what his parents did” 2 him. Will he mark his kids or let tradition die on his face. Just questions! People migrate 2 increase their income, at the cost of culture & tradition. wish i could embrace all the lost “primitive” behaviors that our families have put aside in the name of civilization.
