Hatred is Fear to the nth degree.. Fear carried to its natural and irrational Human conclusion.
SO… when you teach your children to fear god, fear police, fear germs, fear animals, fear change… you are building the next generation of intolerance and destruction.
Teach them instead to RESPECT that which needs to be respected, sit in awe of the awesome, appreciate differences, and seek out and embrace change… THEN teach them to roots of their fear and how to control it.
With luck we’ll never have to coin another “phobia” or “ism” -suffixed word to cover the next brand of HATRED.
