A friend of mine, who is older than my 37 yrs, told me that he wished that his mom had attempted to invest in him as I invest in my kids. (this was in response to me teaching them InDesign and Photoshop, so they could help me out)
Thanks to comments like his, I’ve begun to look at myself, NOT as a MESS trying to raise good kids, but as a decent mom, doing her best…
You dunno how much it relieves me to be able to see that in myself.
