Five children in my house this morning, headed off to four different churches. My son, last to leave said “Mom, I feel like we’re divided.”
I called him back and said “Don’t ever feel like we’re divided. Think of us as spokes on a bicycle wheel. I’m the hub and will always be here no matter how far apart your run takes you.”
From day one, I said i’ll let them make their own religious deisions (no matter how stupid i think the whole thing is) but damn.. They are already feeling the _________ from just wanting to go to different churches, and i just want them to take “Christianity” less seriously and do more inclusive research.
