As I stand upon the shores of this my Kitchen sink, grating ye pungent ginger, I am reminded of mine dearest mother whom i love and lost…
So verily I say unto thee that I declare that one day this week shall be declared “Valerie in the Kitchen Day” and I shall grate more ginger and coconut and burn mine pot with sugar as i make those delicious comestibles for which she was known.. and they shall be eaten.. and it shall be good..
Even though I hateth the ginger fudge with a fiery passion, this i shall do for thee, Sister Val, In remembrance.. Because I loveth thee so.
