I asked a friend once, if the bible was proven to be a fake, how would that affect his faith in God. his response was so disheartening… Like there would be no meaning to his life if the bible was not real.
People need to separate the existence of divinity, from the texts they have been indoctrinated with.
So ANYWAY… a parchment has been found which has Jesus referring to “My Wife”… It has been authenticated as far as dating, language etc.. (The authenticity really does not matter to me,)… What’s interesting about this to me is :
(A Vatican spokesman said: âWe do not really know where this little scrap of parchment came from. âThis does not change anything in the position of the Church, which rests on an ENORMOUS TRADITION, which is very clear and unanimous.â)
So basically, The Church wouldn’t care for the truth because The Church is based on an “enormous tradition”…
and THAT rigidity in thinking is what’s wrong with the world today.
