Last week i sat in a parent/teacher meeting with a teacher who told me that multiplication tables are not a part of Oklahoma City Public Schools curriculum, but they were working on estimating and decimal places. Today, my 3rd grader’s homework requires calculating the Perimeter of a 6 sided figure… umm.. help me out… Am i getting old, or do we have a “cart before horse” situation going on here in OKC??
